Red Grapes
Red grapes are rich in antioxidants called flavonoids. In a conference paper presented by Edwin N. Frankel of the Department of Food Science and Technology, University of California, he highlighted the numerous benefits of flavonoids. It can aid in reducing inflammation and defending against heart disease, diabetes, and other health issues. A half-cup of red grapes (75 grams) contains minimal sodium (1.5 mg), 144 mg of potassium, 15 mg of phosphorus, and 0.5 grams of protein. [3]
